heey. u back
heey. u back
I take that as a compliment :)
I've been experimenting a lot with dynamics and frankly I wasn't even aware of lufs and true values of loudness (+ side and mid mixing) last time we spoke. So now I'm back with my strange compositions and a new perspective on sound. It took me almost a year exactly, I started this journey 1 april 2021. So hopefully I can find my way back and be a lot smarter sound wise :D
this is peak neurofunk. thanks for the delivery
np i have another one coming up too :P
SPURME is a definition of a tryhard. You're on a roll dude!
I find your tracks super uplifting. You always nail the sounds. They sound super collected and cohesive together. I might have some complaints about how the master is done, some parts are resonating or have some phase issues due to the WIDE mix although i must give back some points due to the lenght of the track with really nice storytelling.
Keep it up dude.
Thank you so much :) and yea im still learning about mixing and mastering :)
another turquoisedeath on ng brings me smile
ly thanks for puttin me on the playlist!!!!
s tier goodiness. the pads are something id die for
Ah thank you. Your kicks are always S tier mate.
The pads were actually synthed with vital and is an e minor 7th string ☺️
exactly the type of breakcore im looking for. great work!
Thank you!
feedback from a technohead. not common to hear these type of tracks here. its one of the examples why the genre became so underground so i was pretty excited to hear what you have!
the track gives off pretty much dark vibes throughout the entire timeline. you managed to make it consistent. the intro is prolly bit too long for a techno track, but it can be used in mixes as a potential opener if you were aiming for that. it has a neat breakdown at the end of it. good shit
as the drop comes in, the track is essentially getting filled up with more elements. i wish that the kick should be a bit longer and the sub more prominent. it is a bit sharp for my taste and i think it should be a bit milder with the amplitude. i like the groove at 1:50.
one thing that really caught me a bit off guard was the sequence at 02:34. im a bit picky about well known samples and snippets from original tracks but maan. blade theme acid bassline isnt really a thing i needed to hear. ive heard this billion times in other tracks, edits, remixes and it isnt really working.
one thing i know for sure that when im using this sample (i guess it is) from Serum. i turn off every modulation and make/tweak it on my own and add my own melody and automation. (example my latest track.) i hope i helped! pretty excited for more stuff!
-cry
Yes! thanks for feedback that helped alot also it was like my 1st thing in that genre but im doing now new album so yes thanks!
genre god Ville strikes again, what a bop!
yeet
Really enjoyed to see the whole progress and the result of the contest. I really enjoy listening to contests and then making up my own opinion based on them. This one took me a while to process, because of the lenght. And boy it was a journey.
I unfortunately havent got time for making my own submission and its interesting to hear what would i face if i did.
This contest is a prime example of having a huge skill difference between the participants. I really enjoyed some of them but on the other hand, others were not pleasant to listen to. Quiet literally... The ones i really enjoyed and kinda surprised me were unique. As if the word "remix" had its proper meaning. They fulfilled having the original sound as well as its own sound together. Especially HalfDemure and Arram did a great job on the remix, and the mix point of view.
Some of them didnt catch me off guard, were underwhelming, had some flaws or werent really unique . But that doesnt mean they were utterly "bad". Those that were not quiet good were Arkyon's and Cattyx's. They had alot of weak moments (technically speaking.) Cattyx's was too much for me. And the mix was pretty harsh unfortunately. And Arkyon's submission was well... Unpleasant. I wish you guys good luck on improving nonetheless.
Thanks for the contest!
I didnt expect my name to be one that fulfilled the meaning remix in my submission. I was hoping that youll put me in those have an unpleasant sounds. But even though my track also have flaws, a lot of them. But thanks for the criticism you made for our remix edition.
I can understand your thoughts on my submission. It was my first ever remix and... I kind of rushed it. Nevertheless, I'm happy that I got to submit and I'm still all too eager to improve.
